Six for Little Miss Caribou title

    Six young ladies will take center stage at the Caribou Performing Arts Center on Sunday, March 28 as they compete for the title and crown of Little Miss Caribou 2010. The 2 p.m. afternoon affair, sponsored by the Lister/Knowlton VFW Auxiliary, is under the direction of Cheryl Bossie.

    Hoping to capture the crown of Little Miss Caribou 2010 are contestants, from left: Jorja Bugbee, Cora Crandall, Amber Moir, Brooke Haney, Destiny Soucie and Edie Shea.     Amber Moir, the 8-year-old daughter of Alan and Stacy Moir, will perform a jazz dance to “I Move On” for her talent presentation.
    Nine-year-old Destiny Soucie, who will offer a vocal selection “This is Me,” is the daughter of Jason and Angel Soucie.
    Brooke Haney, the 9-year-old daughter of Troy and Jennifer Haney, will play a piano number, “Salsa Blues,” during the talent competition.
    Jorja Bugbee, age 6,  will perform a lyrical ballet routine to “A Beautiful Day.” She is the daughter of Andrew Bugbee and Andrea Cole.
    Edie Shea, the 6-year-old daughter of Mark and Becky Shea will perform a vocal selection, “Brother for Sale.”
    Cora Crandall, the 8-year-old daughter of Kerry and Jennifer Crandall, will be presenting a vocal  selection entitled “Loves Me Like A Rock.”
    During the afternoon pageant, Little Miss Caribou 2009, Kyra Thibeault, the daughter of Rick and Beth Thibeault, will join with the six contestants entertaining their audience with an opening dance number, “Second Star to the Right,” choreographed by Abby and Paige Small.
    Sandi Bouchard will serve as mistress of ceremonies for the 2010 Little Miss Caribou Pageant. Tickets are $6 each and may be purchased in advance from any of the six contestants.
    All proceeds from the annual pageant will benefit the VFW Auxiliary Cancer Aid and Research Program.
