SACAP seeks aspiring authors

SACAP presents the Southern Aroostook Echoing Silence, a creative writing group to help nurture and develop authors, poets and novelists in the community on March 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Visions on 66 Main St. For more information, call Barbara Sutton at 532-9119.
SACAP is inviting all aspiring writers to come and meet about starting a local writing group. We have a local resident who is helping us to spearhead the endeavor. The group will provide writers in the area with a comfortable forum to share their work with other writers, to help writers grow and improve. All writers are invited to bring samples of their work to share and to have reviewed by their peers. SACAP is pleased to have a member of the community who has stepped forward to spearhead this endeavor.
The group is welcoming all writers regardless of style and regardless of age. It is our desire to nurture all budding authors and poets. High school and college students are encouraged to attend if they have the passion for the pen.
