The annual science fair was held recently at Katahdin Middle and High School. Pictured in the top  photo are Whitney Anderson, left, and Megan Guiggey and with their prize-winning project — “ Penicillium.”  In the bottom photo, Billy Livezy, left, and Cole Porter with their winning project, plant growth with artificial and natural light. Other winners included Levi Robinson and Kasey Fogerty, Dani-Beth Cyr and Mickey Savage, Danielle Chong and Jessi Cox, Sam Vetter, Brianne Noyes, Kaleb Moore, Hannah Buhler, Breanna Cullen and Angela Staples.
