I was born Nov. 22, 1954, in Sherman, the son of Ivory B. Heath Jr. and Elizabeth M. (Foster) Burby. I was employed as a truck driver by Carver's Trucking.
I am survived by my beloved wife, Roberta (Lane) Heath, with whom I have shared the last seven years. Along with my parents, Elizabeth Burby of Millinocket, and Ivory Heath and his wife, Janice, of East Millinocket. I leave my son, James and his wife, Anne; my stepchildren, Jessica Lane and her husband, Jimmy, of Portage, Justin Willigar and his wife, Kelly, of Saco, Danielle Willigar of Benedicta, Jamie Whitcomb and his wife, Chastity, of Troy, and Amy Brown and her husband, Craig, of Unity; my friend and brother, Stephen Heath and his wife, Rhoda, of Stacyville; my sisters, Ellen Van Dine and her husband, Chip, of Millinocket, Lorinda Waltz and her husband, Jeff, of Cornville; brother-in-law, Dicky Lane and his wife, Gail, of Island Falls; sisters-in-law, Diane Deschesne and husband, Bill, of Presque Isle, Charlene Springer and her husband, Rusty, of Sherman, and Heidi Morse and her husband, Ricky, of Patten. I was blessed with 13 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many loving aunts and uncles. I was predeceased by my grandmother, Barbara Coffin; my uncle, Robert Foster; my stepfather, Richard Burby; my mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and Robert Lane.
A memorial service was held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Donnie Willigar officiating.
