Members of the Caribou Business and Professional Women Organization have announced they will be offering three levels of scholarship opportunities this year.  The scholarships will be awarded in June.      The first level is the Viola Willard High School Scholarship. High school seniors who will be entering an accredited college may apply for this scholarship. Willard is a retired educator who was a longtime member of Caribou BPW and served as State BPW president in 1977-78.
The second, the Caribou BPW Interim Scholarship, is available to college students who will be entering their junior year.
The third level is the Caribou BPW Non-Traditional Scholarship, offered to any woman who is at least 25 years old and is a first-time entrant to an institute of higher learning.
Interested persons may send an e-mail to cbpwschol@yahoo.com to request an application form and to receive further information on the necessary criteria.  Forms are also available at all local schools.
Completed applications are to be mailed to Caribou BPW, P.O. Box 412, Caribou, ME  04736 and must be received by April 20.
