Local musicians to perform

    Members of the Wildwood Band and the Shiretones Barbershop quartet will present a Variety Show at the Carleton North High School in Bristol on March 20 at 7 p.m.
    The show will feature international award winning artist, Bonnie Rairdon on vocals, Mike Wheeler on keyboard and sax, Elaine Sullivan on fiddle, Bob Smalley on drums, Art Estabrooks on bass and vocals and Helen McCaffrey on rhythm and vocals.
    The Shiretones Barbershop quartet includes John Clark, lead; Torrey Sylvester, tenor; Ron Lenentine, baritone and Dale MacElwain, bass.
    The Meadowlarks Ladies Barbershop quartette from Fredericton will also be featured as guests.
    Both the Shiretones quartet, along with Rairdon and MacElwain have new CDs that will be launched and available on this date as well.
    Purchase your tickets early, as seating may be limited, at the King is Coming Store in Woodstock or Dr. MacElwain’s office in Waterville, Glenn’s Grocery in Bristol or York’s Bookstore in Houlton. Tickets may be available at the door.
