Fourteen Caribou boys and girls between the ages of 9-15 qualified for the regional finals of the Maine Recreation and Park Association/Red Claws Hot Shot Basketball Competition, held last Wednesday. Sixty youngsters participated in Caribou’s local competition hosted by the Caribou Parks and Recreation Department. The Hot Shot Competition is a basketball competition where participants demonstrate their skills at shooting, speed, dribbling and rebounding ability. Representing Caribou in the Northern Regional Finals will be, in front from left, Hailey White, Gabrielle Marquis, Donovan Savage, Jarred Morrow, Dawson Hebert, Ashley Matlock and Evan Desmond. Back, Matt Curry, Jenna Boucher, Josiah Krul, Tyler Dombroski, Rachael Soucy, Dustin Bouchard and Dayne Savage.
