CARIBOU – Carolyn Joy Clemens passed Saturday evening, Feb. 13, 2010, at home with her husband by her side. She was born Oct. 22, 1954, in Mars Hill, the youngest daughter of Kenneth and Agnes (McElroy) Hawksley.
She was predeceased by Gloria Donnelly, Mary Gagnon, Brenda Melvin. She enjoyed life just like her middle name, Joy. She brought joy to everyone’s life… She could put a smile on anyone’s face.
Carolyn enjoyed her life as a housewife and mother. Her husband of 35 years, Cecil Frank Clemens, the love of her life, is survived and also her son, Dale Lint, the other love of her life.
She also had a very special friend, Mel Dalton of Virginia and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed.
Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2010, at the New Veteran’s Cemetery, Lombard Rd., Caribou, ME, where she will be laid to rest.
