Members of the Caribou Business and Professional Women are once again sponsoring the popular Monte Carlo Night which will take place Friday, Feb. 12 at the Henry B. Pratt, Jr. American Legion Post 15 on Sweden Street.     Beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing to 10 p.m. the evening promises to be full of games played with play money (BPW bucks) ending in an auction of items donated by local businesses. During the event gamers, for $20, will receive 2,000 in BPW Bucks ($2 off with the coupon seen in this week’s Aroostook Republican) and from there will attempt to show their gaming prowess as they participate in poker, Texas Hold’em, roulette and blackjack, trying to amass a fortune in the BPW Bucks which  allows them to bid on any or all of the 100 enticing auction items.
Also during Monte Carlo Night, Legion and Auxiliary members will be providing hotdogs, hamburgers, French fries, onion rings and beverages.
Some of the auction items include: gift certificates from Music-X-Press, Par and Grill, Subway, J.C. Penney’s, Pot Luck, Wardwell’s Service, Inc; Farms Bakery and Shop ‘n Save; items from Cutters, Moir Farms, Bath and Body, S.W. Collins Co., BPW members and more.
