Hewitt travels to Florida

Marie Hewitt flew out of Bangor the first of December for Sarasota, Fla. The day before she flew out, her son Mike and daughter-in-law RaeLynn Hewitt took her to Old Town to spend the night with Jamie. The next day she flew to Saratoga to visit a while with her daughter, Mary Ellen.
While she was there, Marie’s niece came for Christmas from Milbridge. Also, her son Maurice and Patti came from Florahome, Fla., to spend Christmas with them. Matthew and Beth Hogan were also guests over Christmas. They live in Georgia.
Marie stayed a month at Mary Ellen’s and then Maurice picked her up and took her to Florahome to his house for two weeks.
While with Maurice, she was taken around St. Augustine and toured many other places. She saw the ice on the strawberries that farmers were trying to save. Florida had very cold weather while she was there. One day it was warmer here in Easton than in Florida. Can you imagine that?
Marie flew out of St. Petersburg and into Bangor where Mike and RaeLynn picked her up and brought her home. She had a great trip with lots of fun and eating.

Class of 2009 gather

A lot of the members of the Class of 2009 got together at Kilynne Beaulieu’s house for a get-together while they were home for Christmas break. Those in attendance were: Kilynne Beaulieu, Tony Brown, Sean Daniels, Katrina Martin, Sam Bacon, C.J. Beaton and Brad Trask. Everyone had a great time catching up and having fun.

Christmas travelers

Joanne Johnson and Angie Johnson took the bus a few days before Christmas to Fall Rivers, Mass., where Joanne’s daughter, Lori Silvia, picked them up and took them to her house. Lori lives in Somerset, Mass.
Angie’s daughter, Rhonda, and son-in-law, Wayne, picked Angie up at Lori and Derek Silvia’s and took her to their home in Plymouth, Conn., for the holidays. She spent the holidays with them and then Rhonda and Wayne brought her home.
Joanne spent the holidays with her daughter, Lori, her husband, Derek, and granddaughters, McKenna and Taylor. She had a great time. She returned home after the holidays on the bus.
On the way home there was a big storm and Joanne ended up spending the night in Presque Isle before returning home the next day. She had a great trip and can’t wait to go again.
