Bouthot, Geneva M., 79, Caribou, at Caribou, January 16, 2010. Graveside memorial services will be held in the spring at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou. Arrangements are in the care of the Mockler Funeral Home, Caribou.

 

    CARIBOU – Geneva M. Bouthot, 79, wife of Reginald Bouthot, died January 16, 2010, at a Caribou health care facility. She was born at Portage, September 29, 1930, the daughter of Fred and Irene (Boutot) Tardiff. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church where she was also a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Knight of Columbus where she served as treasurer. Geneva loved cooking and knitting and she donated many pairs of mittens and gloves to the children at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
    Although Geneva never had any children of her own, she was a mother to all. Surviving in addition to her husband of Caribou are one brother, Harold Tardiff of Weare, NH; one sister, Marilyn Nichols of Waterville; two step-sons, Donald Bouthot of Naugatuck, CT and Lawrence Bouthot of Plymouth, CT; four step-daughters, Linda Anderson of Bristol, CT; Patricia Cowett and Nancy Murphy both of Plymouth, CT and Claudette Plasczynski of Burlington, CT; three sisters-in-law, Betty Tardiff of NH; Ada Tardiff of Weare, NH and Elaine Tardiff of Presque Isle; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Abel and Fred Tardiff. 
    Graveside memorial services will be held in the spring at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery, Caribou and will be announced in the Bangor Daily News, by the Mockler Funeral Home.
