MARS HILL — Alpine skiers from Presque Isle, Caribou and Central Aroostook competed at the Big Rock Ski Area Saturday morning as the squads attempted to beat the winter storm that blasted Aroostook County. Two slalom events were held, instead of the planned giant slalom event.
