YORK, Isaac B. “Ike” Jr., 72, Presque Isle, in Mars Hill, January 3, 2010. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m., Thursday, at the Funeral Home. Arrangements are in the care of Duncan Graves Funeral Home.
Presque Isle – Isaac B. York Jr, 72, died January 3, 2010 at a Mars Hill health care facility. He was born July 23, 1937 in Castle Hill, the son of Isaac B. and Ethel (Emmen) York Sr.
Ike had been employed by many area potato growers for many years. He also drove for the Aroostook Cab Company and worked for the Bangor Daily News as well as the Presque Isle Star Herald.
He is survived by his wife Roberta (Ambrose) York of Presque Isle, and several nieces and nephews. Ike was predeceased by his parents, a brother William F. York and a sister Dorothy Jacobs.
Relatives and friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, at Duncan-Graves Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home with the Rev.
