Adult Education classes

    Introduction to Computers for beginning computer users will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 12, 6–8 p.m. at the Houlton Higher Education Center with instructor Susan Bickford. There is no charge for this class, but space is limited to 10 students.
    A two-session Introduction to MS Word with Gerald Morey will be held on Thursday, Jan. 21 and Thursday, Jan. 28 ($30 fee). A two-session Beginning Quickbooks Pro with Stacey Emery will be held on Monday, Jan. 25 and Monday, Feb. 1 ($30 fee). These computer classes are also limited to 10 students.
    GED classes are beginning this week; Quilting begins Jan. 11, Cake Decorating Jan. 12 and Sewing on Jan. 14. For more information and to register, call Adult Education at 521-3100 ext. 5.
Region Two Adult Education serves the area in 2010
    Adult Education programs in the Southern Aroostook Community Schools, Katahdin High School, and the Houlton Higher Education Center will be reopening for the winter semester in early January 2010.       Houlton Higher Education Center Adult Education reopens this week; So. Aroostook and Katahdin Adult Education reopen the week of Jan. 11.
