When SAD 29/70 Adult Education Director Otis Smith asked Shop N’ Save, Andy’s IGA, and County Yankee if they would be willing to encourage education with a turkey incentive, without hesitation they all agreed to help. Because of their encouragement six adults, who started furthering their education during November and December this year, received a turkey for their families for the holidays. Chanan Bond, Skyler Critchfield, Lea Henderson, Cody Moran, Melissa Pelkey, and Craig Tweedie received a holiday turkey from one of these stores in time for their Christmas dinner.
