PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Aroostook County Letter Carriers Union, National Association of Letter Carriers Branch 2394 in Presque Isle, is donating $350 to Bobbi Jo Guerrette from Mars Hill to help out in the fundraiser for her operation.
The money was collected at the annual Letter Carrier’s Christmas Union supper meeting.
Thirty-seven letter carriers serve the County in the following towns: Fort Kent, Madawaska, Van Buren, Limestone, Fort Fairfield, Caribou, Presque Isle and Houlton.
In the past, donations collected at the Christmas Union supper meeting have gone to the American Red Cross, Salvation Army and Catholic Charities.
Another charitable cause that the carriers do is the annual food drive the second Saturday in May to support the local food pantries in the County.
