Woodland Extention discusses program ideas

    Members of the Woodland Extension held their annual Christmas party during following a regular meeting  on Tuesday, Dec. 15.     Theresa Andrews, co-president led the group in reading the Homemaker’s Creed and conducted the business meeting, during which the secretary and treasurer’s reports were given. Membership dues, donations to the cash fund and Pennies for Caring were also collected at that time.
    Extension members were informed that the Woodland Extension’s Thanksgiving food basket had been delivered by Elizabeth Beaulieu and Theresa Andrews to a deserving Woodland family.
    It was announced that member Norma Bondeson would lead a program entitled, “New and Old Cookbooks,” at the next regular meeting scheduled to be held on January 19. Clair Hodgkins led a discussion as to what members could do to prepare for the Jan. 19 program.
    Woodland Extension members present at the meeting included: Elizabeth Cochran, Dodie Olmstead, Arline St. Peter, Janet Ketch, Clair Hodgkins, Elizabeth Beaulieu, Priscilla Neilander, Mavis Carson, Theresa Andrews, Margaret Hersey and guest Dot Tomlinsom.
