Club holds awards banquet

    The Pine and Spurs Riding Club held its annual end of year awards banquet Nov. 21. A meeting and pot luck was enjoyed by all at Fort Fairfield High School. Outgoing club president Dave McCrea opened with a warm welcome and incoming president Kim Cheney closed with some upcoming plans for the summer show season.
    Presenting awards was club membership and merit chair Arlene Wright, who had the pleasure of presenting  approximately 40 awards to club members.
    High Point awards were as follows: Leadline Champion, Camryn Ala with Towerhill Mary O’Roo; Reserve, Emma Postell with Top Notch; Leadline Games Champion, Mallory Williams with Splash; Reserve, Camryn Ala with Towerhill Mary O’Roo; Walk Trot Champion, Paige Gagnon with Hot Flash Annie; Reserve, Meg Gagnon with Chianti Doc Tradition; Walk Trot Games champion, Madison Postell with Top Notch; Youth English Champion, Alyssa Kilcollins with Clipper; Reserve, Melissa Peabody with All Stars Three Peat.
    Youth Western Champion, Alyssa Kilcollins with Clipper; Reserve, Autumn Beaulieu with Diablo; Youth Games Champion, Autumn Beaulieu with Diablo; Adult English Champion, Nicole Michaud with Just Sonny Times Two; Reserve, Sue Pierce with Dansu Take Two; Adult Western Champion (tie),  Sabrina Hardwick with Zipped in Stone; Jenna Carr with Aviator; Reserve, Nicole Michaud with Just Sonny Times Two; Adult Games Champion, Rachel Williams with Jersey; Reserve, Randy Johnson with Smoke.
    The Dan Davenport Memorial Trophy for High Point Western Rider went to Jenna Carr with Aviator.
    The Performance Horse of the Year for High Point overall went to Camryn and Emily Ala with Towerhill Mary O’Roo.
