CONFISCATED — Two bottles of flavored brandy and packages of over-the-counter medicine were returned to the manager’s office at Shop ‘n Save in Houlton after an alleged shoplifting incident by a woman out on bail. Police arrived after the woman was spotted and abandoned the shopping cart.

Officer Stephen Nason of the Houlton Police Department said he arrested the woman on two outstanding warrants out of Wiscasset when he found her hiding in a camper in Houlton. Nason declined naming the female saying she gave no reason for her actions and did not resist arrest.
She was transported to Wiscasset the following day and is scheduled to appear in court in Houlton on Feb. 2, 2010.
