    The following births were recently announced at The Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle:
BLIER – A girl, Carlee Michelle Blier, born on October 13, 2009 to Rachel Smith and Troy Blier of Presque Isle. Maternal grandparents are Barry and Lois Smith of Island Falls.  Paternal grandparents are Mike and Donna Blier of Fort Fairfield.  
BURTT – A boy, Austin Lee Burtt, born on September 30, 2009 to Lacey Wardwell and Karter Burtt of Mars Hill. Maternal grandfather is Lloyd Wardwell, Jr. of Westfield.  Paternal grandparents are Marilyn Burtt of Mars Hill and Steven and Lisa Burtt of Mars Hill.
    Maine General Hospital at Waterville has announced the following birth:
CARY – A son, Greyson Quinn Cary, born to Matthew and Erin (Upton) Cary of Hallowell, on November 12, 2009; joining big brother Keegan. Maternal grandparents are Debbie and Wayne Upton of Monticello. Paternal grandparents are Jack and Sue Cary of New Hartford, Conn.
