    MASARDIS – Bernice A. Greenlaw, 90, died Nov. 17, 2009, at a Caribou nursing home.  She was born in Oxbow, Oct. 7, 1919, the daughter of Hugh and Lena (Pelletier) Anderson.  
    She worked for a time as an assistant in the Maine Forest Service entomology laboratory.  Bernice was a life member of the Tillikum Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star of Ashland.   
    She is survived by two sons, Jon Greenlaw and his wife Violet of Tampa, FL and Wayne Greenlaw and his wife Vella of Mapleton; one daughter, Dawn Adams and her husband George of Arundel; two sisters, Velma Sherman of Port Charlotte, FL and Gertrude Christie of Presque Isle; and seven grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Greenlaw in 1988, and by four brothers, Clair, Chester, Don, and Maurice Anderson and by a sister, Margaret MacDonald.
    A graveside service was held at the Masardis Municipal Cemetery on Friday, Nov. 20.  Those who wish may contribute in her memory to the Tillikum Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, in care of Freda Dickinson, 1007 Frenchville Road, Ashland 04732.
