CARIBOU — The Unitarian Universalist Church Thrift Shop will be holding Clothing Give-away Day on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at their South Main Street location in Caribou. All are welcome to the event, where men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, winter coats, jackets, sweaters, pants and other apparel are free to anyone who has a closet in need.
While this is supposed to be a mild winter by Aroostook County standards, it’s still an Aroostook County winter and members of the Unitarian Universalist Church are offering a great opportunity for members of any community to bundle up in warm winter clothing for free.
The Thrift Shop, which has been open all summer, will be closing for the winter months due to heating costs.
