A teen’s thoughts on Question 1

To the editor:
    I am 15 years old and very concerned about Question 1 and wish I was old enough to vote on this. I do though, have the right as an American citizen, to let my voice be heard so I am writing you.  God established the marriage covenant between one man and one woman from the beginning of creation (yes … I believe in creation too! ) Some may say I am not your “regular” teen but actually there are many that believe the same as I do!
 Voting yes on Question 1 is not about hatred, intolerence and bigotry, as many say it is, but rather about honoring God and His word. Please vote “Yes” on Question 1, if not for yourself, than for my generation, and the generations to come. Help keep marriage in Maine to remain the way God designed it.
