Kenneth Hensler, left, president and CEO of The County Federal Credit Union, recently presented 12 personal computers to the Central Aroostook Association for Retarded Children (CAARC) to Stephen Richard, executive director of CAARC. The availability of the computer donation was the result of a recent computer upgrade at the CFCU “Our credit union is always pleased to be able to do something positive for our community and its organizations. CAARC has been a great resource for parents and children to meet an important need in our area,” said Hensler. Since 1959, Central Aroostook ARC (www.caarc.com) has developed day habilitation, person supports and shared living programs, case management, and also several businesses. The County Federal Credit Union (www.countyfcu.org) has over $119 million in assets, serving 22 communities from its three branches in Caribou, Presque Isle and Fort Fairfield.
