Extremists prevent health care reform

To the editor:
    Last week’s paper included an editorial that read in part “I am positive that at least one of the religious right (wrong) will probably say that if someone is poor that it is God’s will”. I’m sure that the writer could find at least one person that would say just about anything. I bet he could even find someone that would say our military members are baby killers, or that there wasn’t a plane crash into the Pentagon on 9/11 … Oh wait … he wouldn’t have to leave his own home.
    Extremely partisan attitudes like this are, in part, the reason why we probably won’t get good health care reform. I’m surprised the HPT printed this rant last week
