Christie Alysee Comes, daughter of Amy Rose of Brandon, Vt. and Thomas Comes of Middlebury, Vt. and Travis Eric Snell, son of Don and Judy Snell of Caribou announce that they have exchanged vows in matrimony on August 1, 2009. In attendance at the couples’ day of joy were: pastor, Steve Smith; parents of the bride and groom; maid of honor, Beth Wade; matron of honor, Jennifer Greenier; bridesmaid, Ashley Comes, Anna Osborne and Melinda McCubrey; best man, John Dionne; groomsmen, Tim Roberts, Mike Hersey, Zac Greenier and Justin Comes; flower girl, Jessica Tardif; ring bearer, Austin Comes; and many more friends and family.
The wedding was at the Church of Universal Fellowship in Orono with a reception following at the Black Bear Inn in Orono.
The bride graduated from Middlebury, Vt. High School in 2005 and from UMO in 2009 and is employed at Eastern Maine Medical in Bangor.
The bride’s groom is a 2002 graduate of Caribou High School, a 2007 graduate of UMO and is employed at Friends and Friends, Ellsworth.
A honeymoon trip to Disney World, Florida is planned and the couple will reside in Glenburn.
