Annual rummage sale at St. Mary’s

    The Houlton Council of Catholic Women will hold their annual rummage sale starting tomorrow, Thursday, Oct. 8-Saturday, Oct. 10.
    Janet Barker, rummage sale chairperson and co-president of the women’s council, said the event has grown over the last forty years to the point that “there are literally thousands of items for sale. We have clothing, footwear, books, toys, dishes, pots, pans, knick knacks, bedding and other household items.”
    The sale at St. Mary of the Visitation takes up several areas on the lower level of the church at 112 Military St. The hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
