Three arrested in burglaries

    Officials with the Maine State Police have released information stating Trooper Shawn Querze has charged three northern Aroostook County individuals for their roles in several area burglaries and vandalisms in Frenchville, Grand Isle and Van Buren.      Over the past few weeks, State Police Troopers have investigated reports of burglaries and damages to a religious campsite, Mizpah, in Grand Isle, a Boy Scout cabin and theft of a vehicle in Frenchville, with damages totaling approximately $6,000 and value of property stolen over $1,000.  
    Charged with the following are: Kara Bouchard, 22, of Frenchville, aggravated criminal mischief, burglary and theft; Travis Theriault, 19, of Frenchville, aggravated criminal mischief, burglary and theft; and Casey Ruest, 18, of Madawaska, aggravated criminal mischief, burglary and theft.
    Also charged with burglary, aggravated criminal mischief and theft and released to the custody of their parents were three juveniles ages 14 to 15.
    Trooper Querze was assisted in the investigation by Trooper Dan Marquis, Trooper Corey Hafford and Sgt. Luke Dyer of the Van Buren Police Department.  
    The investigation is still ongoing and all stolen property has been recovered.
