VAN NUYS, CALIFORNIA – Beryl D. (Hallett) Swaney, 78, passed away September 27, 2009, at Manila Manor in Reseda, California. She was born August 7, 1931, in Caribou, Maine, the daughter of the late Sheldon and Ruby (Richards) Hallett.
Beryl graduated from Caribou High School. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Swaney; three sons, Steven Swaney and his wife, Marie, David Swaney and his wife Elizabeth, and Brent Swaney and his wife, Denise; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all of California; three brothers, Douglas Hallett and his wife, Doreen, Gaylin Hallett and his wife, Madeline, and Gilbert Hallett all of Connor Township.
