Local soccer squads continue to have a good showing in the Maine Principals’ Association Heal Points standings.
The following standings are for games played through Monday, Sept. 21.
Boys Soccer
The Caribou boys soccer team sits atop the Eastern Class B soccer standings as of Tuesday morning, leapfrogging two spots to the No. 1 seed.
In Eastern Class D, Limestone-MSSM (3-7-1, 23.7883) is fourth; Washburn (2-9-1, 13.3291) ninth; and Fort Fairfield (3-6, 8.9286) is 11th. The top 10 teams qualify for the playoffs.
Girls Soccer
In Eastern Class B, Caribou (5-2, 26.7857) is in second place behind Presque Isle.
In Eastern Class D, Fort Fairfield (6-2-1, 29.4260) is fifth; Limestone-MSSM (5-5-1, 24.2474) is sixth; and Washburn (2-7-3, 19.1454) is eighth. The top eight teams make the playoffs.
