There will be a farewell celebration for Mark and Beccy Jago on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 6-8 p.m. at the Greater Houlton Christian Academy gymnasium. The celebration will reflect on Jago’s 16-year ministry at the Academy.
The Jagos moved their family to New Limerick in the summer of 1993, and God provided a vision of what Christian education could be in the greater Houlton area. Jago led the way two years later to start the Greater Houlton Christian Academy. In September of 1996, Greater Houlton Christian Academy opened its doors on 27 School St.
There will be an open house from 6-7 p.m. followed by a program. Cards and notes of appreciation are welcome.
