Annie L. Lord

Lord, Annie L., 88, September 18, 2009.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.  Interment was held at Patten Cemetery.
    MOUNT CHASE – Annie L. Lord, 88, died Sept. 18, 2009, in Houlton. She was born March 1, 1921, in Patten, the daughter of Harold and Bernice Darling Wheaton.
    She was a member of Patten Pentecostal Church, Patten Senior Citizens and was an alumnus of Patten Academy. Annie always had a smile and a kind word for everybody.
    She is survived by three children, Bernice and Carl McHatten of Augusta, Joel and Marcia Lord of Wayland, Mass., and Rachel and Dwinal Anderson of Mount Chase; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Austin in 2003; one brother and three sisters.
    Friends called 6-8 p.m. Monday and 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls, with funeral services held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Regginal Adams officiating. Interment was at Patten Cemetery.
