After presenting a short concert recently for the entire Caribou High School student population, Montana Skies’ cellist, Jennifer Adams, received an invitation from CHS string ensemble students Kellene O’Hara and Rachel Siford to sit in on one of their music sessions.

Members of the Caribou High School String Ensemble recently had a chance to share some practice time with Montana Skies’ cellist Jennifer Adams and her husband Jonathan. Enjoying the musical interlude were: Gabby Ingersoll, Kelene O’Hara, Jennifer Adams, Madison Outing, Kyle McEwen, Paige Nadeau, Rachel Siford, Ashly Ouellette, Lacey Nadeau, Dustin Denbow, Marion Ouelette, Jonathon Adams, Idella Thompson, Regan Buck.
Adams, joined by her husband Jonathan, graciously visited the class playing along with CHS cellists Kellene O’Hara and Gabby Ingersoll, on a variety of selections including, the “Theme from the Pirates of the Caribbean,” “The Russian Sailor Dance,” and “Eine Kleine Nachtmusik.”
“I was surprised and delighted by the invitation,” said Montana Skies’ Jennifer Adams, “the students were enthusiastic and their session was quite good. Ms. Herold is doing a wonderful job with them.”
Susan Herold, who directs the high school string ensemble, and her student musicians are planning a musical demonstration for grade four students later this fall and will also be performing during the Caribou High School Band concerts.
