Evening of Music

    The sanctuary of the Church of the Good Shepherd was filled with music and guests recently. Several community members joined in a musical program lasting a bit more than 90 minutes to raise money for the 117-year-old organ restoration project. The projected cost is $45,000 and will be done by the Pipe Organ Builders in Gorham. More than $1,000 was raised during the concert. One of the groups participating was the First Baptist Church Handbell Choir. They are from left, Louise London, Marilyn Grendell, Brenda Higgins, Joan Barton, Caroline Loomes, Arlene Bean, Sylvia Murray and Cherie Moulton.
