Polchies, Robert L., 47, August 27, 2009.  Arrangements by Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Houlton.
    Houlton – Robert Louis Polchies, 47, passed into eternal life, in his sleep at his home on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009. He was born to Alexander and Roberta (Paul) Polchies on March 8, 1962 in Houlton.
    Robert was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, friend and companion.
    He is survived by his two daughters and one son, Jessi and Misty Polchies both of Houlton, Johnathan Douglass of Woodstock, NB; six grandchildren all of Houlton, Keanen 7, Bradley 6, Austin 5, Mimiqwes 2, Damon 2, Alexes 5 months; two brothers, Val and Terry Polchies. He was a loving stepfather to Valerie, Joseph, Brandy, Matthew and Katie Polchies. Robert lived with his companion Laurie Pedersen at the time of his passing. He also shared stepchildren with her, Crystal, Karsten and Kylie. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Maynard Polchies and Sonny Polchies; his sister, Beverly Polchies.
    Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Dunn Funeral Home with Rev. James Gardner officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery. Gifts may be made in Robert’s memory to the Robert L. Polchies Memorial Fund, c/o Dunn Funeral Home, 11 Park Street Houlton, 04730.
