    LINNEUS – Loretta E. Carpenter, died August 26, 2009, at the young age of 47 years. She will be remembered by her husband of almost 24 years, William S. Carpenter; daughter, Danielle D. Davenport and her husband, Stacy of Houlton; grandson, Braeden M. Davenport; brother, Jeffery Miller and his wife, Tracy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
    Loretta will be loved and missed by many. She was not only a mother, daughter, and wife but she was our rock.  Loretta will never be forgotten and we all have special memories that we shared with her. By God's grace her love touched so many.
    Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept 3, 2009, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton with Deacon Al Burleigh offiating.
