1967: Present to officiate at the ribbon cutting, signifying the opening of Sperry & Hutchinson’s magnificent new S&H stamp redemption center on the Access Highway were, from left: Charles Dascalos, district operations manager; Fred Bennett, president of the Chamber of Commerce; Miss Florine Belanger, Miss Caribou; Gilman Albair, chairman of Caribou Town Council; Pat Daniels, manager of the local branch; and Willard Stevens of Houlton, field man. The first redemption in the new store was by Mrs. Don Merritt of Caribou.
