Craig’s Maine Course – located at beautiful VaJoWa Golf Course

Craig’s Maine Course Restaurant at the VaJoWa Golf Course brings the coast of Maine to southern Aroostook. Nestled between Pleasant and Mattawamkeag lakes in Island Falls, the restaurant offers both lunch and dinner, not only to golfers coming in from the fairways, but anyone that is looking for a delicious meal.
    Owners, Craig and Jennifer Hartsgrove have the menu that will satisfy any-size appetite and offer items that are lowfat and baked or broiled in addition to those who prefer fried.
Customers dine on premium seafood, steaks, fresh salads, wraps, as well as pizza, burgers and sandwiches in the spacious dining room with coastal decor. There is also an impressive lineup of homemade desserts and a fully stocked bar.
Thursday night is Wing Night and a new addition to the menu is the Friday Fish-Fry. The all-you-can eat haddock is $9.95 and they also have Maine shrimp and a shrimp/haddock combo. They will soon add a Saturday Night Barbecued Ribs special.
The Hartsgroves can also accommodate a variety of occasions such as, an anniversary, birthday, wedding reception, shower, rehearsal dinner, holiday party, family or class reunions and memorial service gatherings. They offer a variety of menu choices for these events and there is always the option of holding the activity outside during the summer or fall season.
The Maine Course is open year round for your dining pleasure and the setting is beautiful any time.
“We have great food and we love what we do,” said Jennifer. “Customer service is the key to our business. We want everyone to be happy when they leave and we want them to come back soon.”
