PRESQUE ISLE – A fire last week at 25 Twilight Drive remains under investigation.
“The Presque Isle Fire Department responded to a report of a fire at 25 Twilight Drive on Thursday, Aug. 13. The son of the owner of the housing complex was driving by and saw smoke coming out the windows and immediately reported what he saw,” said Deputy Chief Adam Rider.     According to Rider, the fire was brought under control by about 1:05 p.m. No one was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
“One cat was removed safely from the building,” noted Rider.
Rider indicated the structure, owned by DC Rentals, sustained minimal damage. Officials believe the fire started in the living room/bedroom wall area of the home.
“The fire remains under investigation,” said Rider.
