McMonigle, James F., 94, July 9, 2009.  Arrangements by Engel Funeral Home, Inc., Newburgh, New York.  Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Wappingers Falls, New York.
    MARLBORO, NY – James F. McMonigle, 94 peacefully entered into rest at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital – Newburgh Campus on Thursday, July 9, 2009. He was born March 10, 1915, in Houlton, Maine, the son of Frank and Gertrude Garrity McMonigle.
    James was a Fourth Degree member of Knights of Columbus, Catholic War Vets, and the Ancient Order of Hibermians.
    He is survived by his daughter, Anita Selbert and her husband Michael with whom he resided; brother, Eugene McMonigle of Houlton, ME; sisters, Margaret Ochmanski of Miami, Fl., and Mary Lucas of Los Angeles, CA; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters, Anna McMonigle, Alice McMonigle and Mildred Fernandez; and two brothers, Louis McMonigle and Francis McMonigle.
    A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated July 13, 2009. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery,  Wappingers Falls, NY.
