   The results for the 2009 Crime Stoppers Golf Tournament at the Mars Hill Country Club held on Aug. 1 and 2 are as follows:
    First gross, Josh McGuire, Ian Gervais, Porter Gervais, Bruce Nason (55); second gross, Kurt McDowell, Warren Walker, Scott Walker, Tim Hartin (57); third gross, Curt Culberson, Frank Keenan, Rich Collins, Dan Hotham (57).
    First net, Tom Daggett, John Hunter, Marty Arbo, Mark Elwell (49); second net, Brock Kingsbury, Matt Drosdik, Blake Bradbury, Jason Woodworth (50); third net, Scott Kingsbury, Mitch Wheeler, George Brewer, Marty Wheeler (50).
    Prizes were also won by Tim Hartin, closest to pin on hole No. 6; Brad Tremblay, closest to pin on hole No. 8; Bert Boucher, closest to pin on hole No. 13; Martin Collin, closest to pin on hole No. 15; Warren Walker, longest Drive on hole No. 18; Bea Brown, closest to the Sheriff on Saturday; Josh Tweedie, closest to the Sheriff on Sunday; and Bruce Nason, longest putt on hole No. 12.
    The Crime Stoppers committee was thankful for all who participated in the tournament and made donations to this annual fundraiser.
