Dora Brewer

Brewer, Dora, 89, June 2, 2009.  Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.  Interment was held in the Village Cemetery, Monticello.
    LITTLETON – Dora Brewer, 89, passed peacefully June 2, 2009, in Houlton with her family by her side. She was born December 30, 1919, in Littleton, the daughter of Norman and Nellie (Wiggins) Currier.
    Dora was a very devoted sister and aunt who gave unconditional love and never complained and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Littleton Baptist Church for over 50 years.
    She is survived by her two brothers, Harry and Herbert Currier, both of Littleton; one niece, Norma Tarr of Dyer Brook and her daughters, Michelle Tarr-Douglas, Janelle Collier and her son, Ethan "Big E", who was the light of Dora's life; several other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased her husband, Percy Brewer; one sister, Ella Currier; four brothers, Sam, Elmer, Francis and George.
    Friends called 12-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, at Bowers Funeral Home, 10 Water Street, Houlton, where funeral services were held at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Steve Straubel officiating.  Interment was in the Village Cemetery, Monticello.
