Logging professional program to host Bridge Mat workshop

    The QLP (Qualified Logging Professional) program of Region Two Adult Vocational Education is holding a Bridge Mat Construction workshop at the Region Two Vocational location at the Southern Aroostook High School in Dyer Brook on Tuesday, June 9, during the day.
    This workshop will cover water quality Best Management Practices (BMPs) connected to stream crossings in the logging business. Other partners in this workshop are the Southern Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District, the Maine Forest Service, and the Maine Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI).
