This new service allows local bank personnel to provide the customer with a debit card on site without the customary five to seven day wait period. “It is very convenient to just come into the local branch on North Street and instantly be issued a card without the usual wait time,” said Cropley.
    “New customers opening an account will be handed their new card after the initial application process and usually before they leave the bank,” he said.
    The customer’s name and account number will be printed and encoded on the new card in minutes. This sleek, unembossed design enables local personnel to print and encode your account information right at the back while the customer waits.
