Retirement Party

HOULTON — A retirement party, in Chris McGuire’s honor was held last Thursday at the Courtyard Café for some 30 co-workers and family members in recognition of his many years of service with the Houlton Water Company (HWC). General Manager John Clark said it was a very enjoyable event with people recalling McGuire’s last 31 years with HWC. He retired with supervisory responsibility for all water operations and sewer collection. McGuire, who is seen in the photo with his wife Linda, thanked everyone for the years he worked with them and said he will miss them.
