CPAC Director Joe Zubrick released the Center’s 2009-2010 season schedule. “We’re looking at an exciting package,” said Zubrick, “including some old favorites and some new talent. The 2009-2010 season offers five musical acts including Montana Skies, Boreal Tordu, The Old Time Radio Gang, Two Old Friends and Dave Mallett. Rounding out the season offerings are two theatrical pieces, a one-man show, Muse of Fire and the popular musical “Godspell.” The final piece is the traditional offering of the Nutcracker Ballet.
The season opens Friday, September 11, with Montana Skies, a duo that presents an eclectic blend of electric cello and guitar with a repertoire from Pink Floyd and Rush to Vivaldi, House of the Rising Sun, and Bach, as well as their own originals. The season concludes on April 30 with Dave Mallett, a popular County favorite.
CPAC is offering a season ticket this year with a unique twist. Under a “Pick Five” format, patrons can purchase a ticket at reduced rates for any five of the season’s offerings.
And, because of an agreement with UMPI’s Cultural Affairs Office, CPAC ticket holders can choose to use one of their picks for a show at UMPI.
Season ticket prices for CPAC are $60 for adults, $50 for seniors and students. Patrons ordering tickets before April 30 will be eligible for discounted tickets this May for two CPAC offerings, the George Street Blues Project on May 2 and the Fred Garbo Inflatable Theater on May 16.
