SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT Sarah Porter displays her $1,000 check on March 14 in Bangor. Porter received the McDonald’s All-State Academic Scholarship after being selected out of 10 finalists. According to Presque Isle High School Principal Eric Waddell, “After seven semesters of high school, Sarah has earned a 96.3 average. I cannot imagine anyone who is more desrving of this scholarhip award.”
