BANGOR – The New England School of Communications, an affiliate of Husson University, has awarded a total of $21,650 in scholarship aid to a total of 48 students for the second semester, which began Jan. 12. It is the largest amount ever awarded by the school. The scholarships, which are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and need, include seven named for individuals and range from $250 to $1,000.
Receiving a named award was Ryan Bagley of Presque Isle, the Diane and Gary Kasparek Scholarship, $500.
