CHEERING – Helping to lead the cheers at the University of Maine Black Bear football games this fall is Mackenzie Murphy of Owls Head. Murphy is a 2008 Honor Graduate of Rockland District High School.  She is the granddaughter of Fred and JoAnne (Gray) Murphy, formerly of Houlton, and the great-granddaughter of Jennie Murphy of Abraham Street in Houlton.
