PRESQUE ISLE – The Presque Isle High School Varsity Club and students from Presque Isle Middle School collected items to donate to the Central Aroostook Humane Society during the week of Monday, Dec. 1 through Monday, Dec. 15.
Items collected included: dog and cat food, bleach, clean towels (old & new), paper towels, laundry soap, fabric softener, non-scoop cat litter (much needed item), throw rugs, leashes, glass cleaner, clean blankets (old & new), scratching posts, toys, pet beds, dish washing liquid, dog or cat nail clippers, pet treats, Q-tips, cat nip, cat carriers, pens, scotch scrubs, and plastic bags. The Varsity Club also raised $100 for the shelter.
